This page explains how to bulk register association IDs using a CSV file.
For more details on association IDs, please refer to the following help page.
Reference: Registering Association IDs
Target Audience
IT administrators who want to bulk register association IDs in User Profiles.
Steps
To perform a bulk registration via CSV, you must first manually register an association ID for at least one user.
1. Download the CSV File
- Click "Users" in the left sidebar menu to open the User Profiles.
- Click "Download" in the top right, and then click "All Users."
- Click "Scheduled Tasks" in the left sidebar menu.
- If the CSV generation is complete, download the CSV file. If it is not complete, wait a few seconds, reload the page, and download the CSV file once it is finished.
2. Edit the CSV File
- When you open the downloaded CSV, you will see association ID columns to the right of the "App" column.
*These columns are labeled as "(App Name) Account ID," "(App Name) Username," etc. - Delete all rows except for the users you want to edit.
- Enter the association email addresses or IDs in the target columns.
- For example, if you want to associate an "Unmanaged User" email address with another user, enter the "Unmanaged User" email address in the "Association Email Address" column for that user's row.
*If there are multiple "Association Email Address" columns, enter it in any one of them.
3. Upload the CSV File
Please refer to the following help page for instructions on how to upload the CSV file.
