This guide explains how to integrate Tableau from the Josys App Catalog page.

Integrating Tableau

  1. Log in to Tableau with an administrator account, create a Personal Access Token, and obtain the Token Name and Token Secret.

  2. Obtain the Admin URL and Site Content URL from the URL after logging into Tableau Cloud.
    • Example) https://10ax.online.tableau.com/#/site/ttestdev854790/ 
    • Admin URL: https://10ax.online.tableau.com
    • Content URL: ttestdev854790
  3. From the left sidebar of Josys, click Integrations > App Catalog.
  4. Search for and click Tableau.
  5. The configuration page will appear on the right side.
  6. Fill in the required fields on the configuration screen and click Save to complete the integration.

API Permissions

The following APIs are used from the public API specifications:

  • Get list of accounts
  • Create account
  • Delete account
  • Assign license
