Overview

This article explains the procedure for integrating Trello on Josys's App Catalog page.

Prerequisites on the App Side

💡 Issue the API key (Personal Key) and API token required for integration with Josys.
  1. Log in to Trello with an Admin account.
  2. Access https://trello.com/power-ups/admin .
    For the first time only, check the box to agree to Privacy and compliance, and click Continue.

  3. Click New, fill in the required fields, and click Create.

  4. Click Generate a new API key and copy the API key.

  5. Click the Token link, click Allow in the opened window, and copy the token.

How to Obtain the Legacy Integration Key
  1. Log in to Trello with an Admin account.
  2. Access https://trello.com/app-key and copy the Personal Key.
  3. Replace {your Personal Key} in the URL below with your copied Personal Key, and access it in your browser. 
    https://trello.com/1/authorize?expiration=never&scope=read,write,account&response_type=token&name=ServerToken&key={your Personal Key}
    Example: If the Personal Key is 123xyz, it will be as follows:
    https://trello.com/1/authorize?expiration=never&scope=read,write,account&response_type=token&name=ServerToken&key=123xyz
  4. Click Allow at the bottom of the displayed screen.

  5. Copy the issued API token.

Integrating with Josys

  1. Click Integrations > App Catalog from the left sidebar of Josys.
  2. Search for and click Trello.
  3. The settings page will be displayed on the right.
  4. Enter your organization, the API key (Personal Key) obtained earlier, and the API token, and click Next to complete the integration.
    The organization can be obtained from the URL after logging in. In the example below, it corresponds to user73537763.
