Integrating Slack
- Select your
Pricing Plan. - Click "Next."
-
A pop-up window will open, displaying the screen to authorize access to Slack for the Slack app "Josys for Integration" provided by Josys. Select the target workspace from the workspace dropdown list.
-
Click the "Allow" button at the bottom.
- The pop-up window will close, and you will return to Josys.
The integration is complete when the pop-up message "Slack has been integrated" appears in the bottom left corner.
Q: On the app suspension/deletion screen, the message "Account management is not supported by Josys" is displayed, and I cannot deactivate the Slack account.
This error occurs when "Google Workspace Authentication (Google Auth SSO)" is used as the integration method for Slack.
If integrated via Google Workspace Authentication, even if your Slack plan is Business+ (or Enterprise Grid), API limitations prevent Josys from executing account deactivation (deletion). Only account visualization and account provisioning are supported in this setup.
If you want to deactivate accounts from Josys, please ensure you are using a supported Business+ (or Enterprise Grid) plan, and re-integrate using Slack's native OAuth authentication.
*Note: The "Delete Account" action for Slack in Josys performs an "Account Deactivation" in Slack. It does not permanently delete the account.
