Overview
Josys AI Data Refinery is a suite of features leveraging the power of AI to dramatically streamline your data management tasks. This page describes how to use the Magic Import feature within AI Data Refinery.

What is Magic Import?
This feature is used for bulk registering or updating information in User Profiles and Devices. Even if you do not use the import file template specified by Josys, the AI reads the column names and automatically imports data into the appropriate fields. A preview screen is available before importing, allowing you to edit the data as needed.
Prerequisites for Magic Import
The prerequisites for using Magic Import are as follows:

How to Use Magic Import
- Open the page (User Profiles or Devices) where you want to import data.
- Click the "✨" icon (Josys AI button) at the top right.
- In the side window that opens on the right, click "Auto-import data".
- Drag and drop the Excel or CSV file you want to import into the designated area on the screen.
- The AI analyzes the file and automatically maps the data to the corresponding fields in Josys.
- Once the analysis is complete, the text "Analysis complete" will appear in purple in the right window.
- Click the "Preview, edit, and add users" button when it appears at the bottom of the window.
- Verify that each field is mapped correctly.
If there are any errors in the data, hover over the corresponding row and click "Edit" on the far right to make changes. - Check the boxes for the individual records you want to upload.
- Click "Add Records" at the bottom right.
If the Import Fails
Magic Import utilizes a language model to interpret column names in the uploaded file and convert them to fit Josys's format. If the file contains similar column names or if the number of columns exceeds 20, the import may fail. In such cases, try renaming the columns or reducing the total number of columns.
