Checking Score Components
The scorecard consists of four main components: Accounts, Apps, Access, and Licenses. Clicking the count (number) for each item displays details and allows you to take necessary actions.
Accounts
- Review Unmanaged Users: Displays the number of unmanaged users. Delete them, link them to existing users, or convert them to new users. Reference: Processing Detected Unmanaged Users
- Review Inactive Accounts: Displays the number of inactive accounts (pending, suspended, resigned, archived, etc.) that have not used the app for a long time. Remove unnecessary access permissions to reduce risk. Reference: Deleting or Suspending App Accounts
- Resolve Active Permissions for Resigned/Deleted Users: Displays the number of accounts that are deactivated or deleted in Josys but still have active access permissions on the app side. Please remove access permissions immediately to improve security. Reference: Unremoved IT Devices or Apps for Resigned Users
Apps
- Integrate Approved Apps: Displays the number of apps registered in Josys but not yet integrated via API for detailed analysis. Reference: Managing Detected Apps
- Categorize Detected Apps: Displays the number of unclassified apps (Shadow IT) detected through monitoring. You need to categorize them as "Approved," "Ignored," or "Unapproved." Reference: Managing Detected Apps
- Assign App Owners: Assign an owner to apps without a designated owner to ensure smooth operational management. Reference: Apps Page Description - Feature Explanation ③
- Update Contract End Dates: Update apps with outdated or missing subscription information. Reference: License Management
Access
- Remove Privileged Access from Unmanaged Users: Displays the number of unmanaged users with privileged access (such as admin rights). Identify the assigned privileges (e.g., administrator rights). Reference: License Management
- Secure Privileged Accounts without MFA: Privileged access accounts are not protected by multi-factor authentication. To prevent unauthorized access to apps, you must configure multi-factor authentication.
- Reduce Users with Excessive Privileges: Displays the number of users with more permissions than necessary. Identify these users and reduce their permissions based on the principle of least privilege.
Licenses
- Reclaim Low-Usage Licenses: Displays the number of licenses assigned to users who do not actively use the app. Reclaiming them can reduce costs.
- Remove Licenses for Unmanaged Users: Displays the number of licenses assigned to unmanaged accounts. Delete or reassign them.
- Review Unassigned Licenses: Displays the number of paid licenses that are not assigned to anyone. You can consider utilizing them effectively or canceling them.
